Job summary

The Department of Transportation seeks an Operations Supervisor at a terminal facility to plan and direct day-to-day operations within delegated areas of responsibility. You will provide first-line supervision to a team of Developmental and Certified Professional Controllers and ensure safe, efficient operations.

Candidates must demonstrate specialized experience including FAA 2152 FV-J/FG-14 or above, facility rating in ATS, or MSS in ATS, and meet qualifications by the closing date.

Qualifications

• Must have held an FAA 2152 FV-J/FG-14 or above regional or headquarters position for at least 1 year (52 weeks); OR
• Must have been facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year (52 weeks) in an ATS facility; OR
• Must have held a MSS position for at least 1 year (52 weeks) in an ATS facility

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct operations within delegated areas of responsibility.
• Provide first-line supervision to a team of Developmental and Certified Professional Controllers.
