Job summary

Canvas is recruiting qualified candidates to support the 780th Test Squadron at Eglin AFB, Florida, for TMAS II. The role focuses on test and evaluation of air-to-air, air-to-surface weapons, and related programs. Requires working knowledge of airborne weapon systems and DoD testing environments.

The position emphasizes readiness to brief and participate in Safety Review Boards and collaborate with contractors and service branches. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; 3–10 years of relevant experience (experience may substitute education).
• Active Secret clearance with eligibility for Special Access Programs.
• Ability to communicate clearly to multiple stakeholders and resolve competing test resource requirements.
• Self-motivated to learn new systems under test and proactive to meet program requirements.
• Ability to work as part of an integrated team; strong communication skills and technical writing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Establish standards for test documentation and technical reporting.
• Provide technical review of test directives, methods of test, data packages, and reports.
• Present test strategy, objectives, and procedures at boards and reviews.
• Manage engineering duties related to test and evaluation of major programs.
