Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, to develop, upgrade, and integrate threat-system models in an air domain simulation environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, EE or related field with 2+ years of experience, or MS in CS, CE, EE or related field.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience with modeling and simulation (M&S) techniques.
• Excellent English-language written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and under deadlines in a mixed government-contractor environment.

Responsibilities

• Model air-based system models using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Integrate air-based system models into a large real-time, C++ based simulation environment.
• Collaborate with government and contractor teams.
• Review intelligence data to drive modeling decisions.
• Test and evaluate models before customer submission.
• Prepare model test and interface documentation.
