Air Station Manager

Responsible for the execution of all operations tasks within the Air Station, on time and on plan to support our strategic objectives and customer success. Has direct people responsibility for the Air Import, Air Export, and Revenue Management teams within the Air Station.

Key responsibilities

  • Operations Execution - Responsible for the execution all operational tasks on time and on plan to support our customer success in a lean and cost-efficient manner.
  • Standard Processes - Implementation of standard processes and systems within the Air Station, and accountable for team adherence to customer specific IOPs and operational KPIs.
  • Performance Management - Manage the performance of the operational and customer service activities within the Air Station.
  • Product Profitability - Maximize the Air Station revenue and GP through support of business development efforts, proper rate tariff implementation, and effective cost management.
  • People Management - Coach, motivate and build a high performing team; lead by example, inspire and energize others; set clear objectives and guide team to achieve targets and performance standards; attract, develop, and retain talent.
  • Customer Relationship Management - Actively build strong relationships with customers, and own local customer experience.
  • Strategic Leadership - In conjunction with NAM Regional Air Freight leadership team, define and implement local actions in support of product strategy.

Required qualification, experience & skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a related business area is required
  • Minimum of 10 years freight forwarding experience.

Salary:

$145,000 - $175,000*

Benefits:

Full time employees are eligible for Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, and 401k Match.

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for this position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
