Job description

Division of a Fortune 100 Company is seeking to hire an ASU Assistant Plant Manager for their operation in Apple Grove, WV. Air Separation experience is essential. Salary does not include bonuses or profit sharing. A relocation package is available for qualified candidates.

Minimum qualifications include:

1. High school diploma or GED; additional college, technical school, or military/technical experience preferred
2. At least 5 years of experience in operations at a continuous process plant or the gas industry
3. Advanced understanding and hands-on experience with cryogenic air separation plants and related equipment
4. Proficiency with software systems such as MS Office; automation software, control system programming, and HMI skills are a plus
5. Ability to interpret sophisticated instrumentation and make rapid decisions
6. Understanding of electrical principles related to complex electrical devices on air separation plants
7. Mechanical aptitude for maintenance tasks
8. Experience with maintenance programs, asset management, scheduling, and procurement
9. Physical ability to handle various weights and work in different physical positions

Preferred qualifications include:

1. Proficiency in repairing and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment
2. Independent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
3. Ability to train staff on plant operations and maintenance techniques
4. Knowledge of water treatment and industrial refrigeration principles
