Airgas in Texas is hiring a Regional Production Plant Technician to operate and maintain equipment used in air separation and CO2 plants. The role supports startups, training, and coverage for routine production. Strong focus on safety, instrumentation, and process control is required.

The position offers comprehensive benefits and requires flexibility for overtime and travel. You will work in a hands-on environment with SCADA/HMI/PLC systems and a commitment to safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional technical college or military training preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and control equipment in air separation, vacuum swing absorption and CO2 plants.
• Operate SCADA/HMI/PLC systems and perform startups, troubleshooting and remote monitoring as needed.
• Prepare accurate records of plant readings, maintenance, calibrations, and compliance with safety/quality requirements.
• Maintain instrumentation, calibrations, and assist with safety and regulatory compliance.
• Perform routine QA and maintenance on plant equipment, calibrations, and related systems.
