The role directs Decentralized Materiel Support activities within the Logistics Readiness Squadron, ensures regulatory compliance, and coordinates with supply organizations to determine requirements and asset accountability, with telework eligibility.

Responsibilities

• The primary purpose of this position is: As an Air Reserve Technician (ART) provides an interface between the aircraft maintenance activity and the logistics support activities which provide equipment, supplies, parts and components. Additionally, position provides training to reservists in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein.
• Plan, organize and direct the activities of the Decentralized Materiel Support (DMS) function within the Logistics Readiness Squadron, ensuring equipment support complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
• Represents unit in working with supply support organizations to determine requirements and the capability of supply to support those requirements.
• Serves as the Decentralized Materiel Support for assistance on issues concerning Depot Level Reparables (DLRs).
• Accountability of supply and equipment assets.
