Your OpportunityStantec is currently seeking to grow our Air Quality Team. We are looking for Air Quality Project Managers to join our team throughout the United States. Successful candidates will primarily manage and complete projects assisting one of Stantec’s fortune 500 manufacturing client accounts with air quality permitting, compliance, and reporting, and/or air dispersion modeling. Position may manage client relationships, identify, and respond to project opportunities, and lead execution of air quality permitting and compliance projects in accordance with the Clean Air Act (CAA) and other federal, state, and local regulations. Project sectors include, but are not limited to, manufacturing, distribution centers, mining, and chemicals. Position may be filled in any of Stantec’s offices, but ideally in the Minneapolis/Saint Paul metropolitan area.Your Key Responsibilities

• Direct projects and teams to meet deliverables including managing project scope, schedule, and budget for a wide variety of clients with air permitting and environmental compliance needs.

• Assist clients in identifying appropriate monitoring, planning, training, testing, record-keeping, and reporting protocols.

• Prepare air permit applications and associated documentation.

• Conduct environmental site assessments and inspections to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal air quality requirements.

• Maintain and foster client relationships.

• Engage with State and Federal agency personnel on behalf of the client.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Demonstrate knowledge of air quality environmental regulations and requirements, which may include air dispersion modeling and Prevention of Signification Deterioration (PSD) permitting under New Source Review (NSR), including nonattainment NSR.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Strong Analytical skills and good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills with both clients and project team members.

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software platform, specifically Microsoft Excel.

• Ability to travel regionally and as needed, have overnight trips.Education and Experience

• Required Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, environmental policy, or related field.

• Desired Master’s degree in engineering, environmental science, environmental policy, or related field.

• Locations in VT, & Various CA, NY Areas - Min Salary $ 88,300.00 - Max Salary $ 128,000.00

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
