Job summary

Kinder Morgan, Inc. in Houston, TX, seeks a self-starter to provide air quality compliance, permitting and technical support to Kinder Morgan’s world class Liquids Terminals and Products Pipeline Business Units.

This position may be filled at various levels depending on experience and job skills of the successful candidate. The role offers a hybrid schedule with Monday through Wednesday in the office and Thursday and Friday remote, not eligible for 9/80.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of oil and gas experience in air quality compliance and permitting.
• Experience in preparing emissions reports and air permit applications.
• Working knowledge of Clean Air Act and air quality regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and cost tracking for APC team.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, and evaluate work of third-party air contractors/consultants.
• Develop and manage Excel-based tracking tools and KPI metrics.
• Perform air permitting and compliance activities including report submission and permit applications.
• Interact with federal, state, and local officials as required.
