Job summary

HDR, an employee-owned company in Minnesota, invites environmental science students to join a temporary, full-time role to support air permitting and compliance projects. You will assist with notifications and data gathering for industrial clients, while learning in a mentoring-driven environment.

• Explore industrial sources’ air dispersion impacts to support air permitting or compliance projects
• Assist in drafting air permitting notifications, application forms, and compliance documents for industrial clients
• Connect with recent college graduates and company leaders through mentoring programs
• Perform other duties as needed

Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
• Familiarity with EPA’s Clean Air Act
• Preference given to local candidates

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate environmental science, biology, environmental Engineering or related program
• Attention to detail
• Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
