Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking an Air Quality District Supervisor in Williamsport, PA to lead field staff and manage air quality program activities within the Northcentral Regional Office.

The role includes oversight of inspections, data reviews, regulatory duties, staff hiring and training, and community coordination. Telework up to 3 days/week may be available, with 8:00 AM–4:00 PM hours and travel to inspection sites. Salary ranges from $69,086 to $104,959 annually.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as an Air Quality Specialist or equivalent.
• One year as an Air Monitoring Program Supervisor or equivalent.
• Three years in control and abatement of air pollution with a related Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Equivalent combination of experience and/or training.

Responsabilités

• Guide staff in air quality inspections, data reviews, and regulatory duties.
• Direct hiring, training, evaluations, and scheduling for the team.
• Review work for accuracy, ensure policy compliance, oversee enforcement actions.
• Evaluate reports and permit activities to support sound environmental decisions.
• Share air quality information with the public and stakeholders.
• Support emergency response during environmental incidents.

Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, or environmental field related to Air Quality Management
