Job summary

HOLIDAY GEMS LIMITED in the United States is seeking a Senior Air Product Lead to oversee air strategy and drive performance of air-related offerings, including packages, digital supply chains, and booking systems.

You will manage supplier relations, GDS/NDC integrations, and API connections, own roadmaps, dashboards, and KPI reporting, and collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Marketing to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Significant travel industry experience, especially with GDS management and airline APIs.
  • Familiarity with airline rate management, BSP/ARC/IATA processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and secure preferential air rates with airlines, consolidators, and GDS providers.
  • Lead implementation and integration of flight booking tools, GDS systems, and APIs (incl NDC).
  • Define product vision, roadmap, and go-to-market strategy for air supply and OTA connectivity.
  • Define and track KPIs (revenue, MOB rates, booking costs, customer satisfaction).

Job description

Who We Are Looking For

To oversee the groups air strategy. Lead, design, implement and oversee the performance of airlinerelated product offerings—whether packages, digital supply chains or booking systems. This crossfunctional role spans negotiating with suppliers, managing GDS, NDC and API integrations in addition to executing product strategies that enhance customer experience and boost profitability.

Key Responsibilities
Supplier & Rate Management
  • Negotiate preferential air (and sometimes combined air-hotel) rates with airlines, consolidators and GDS providers
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards i.e., ATOL and IATA regulations
  • Curate flight or flight-inclusive packages based on client preferences and market gaps
Systems & Technical Integration
  • Lead implementation and optimization of flight booking tools, GDS systems, APIs (inc NDC), and other related platforms (e.g., Seaware/Paxport)
  • Own roadmaps and integration of airline aggregators/consolidators into product offerings
  • Build dashboards, tools, and reporting for air operations, fare monitoring, invoice processing (BSP/ARC/IATA), and performance tracking
Product Strategy & Lifecycle
  • Define the product vision roadmap, and go-to-market strategy for air supply, OTA connectivity, or cross-product bundles
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market trend evaluation to aid innovation and partnerships
  • Collaborate with Finance and Sales and Marketing departments to deliver meaningful impact
Analytics & Performance Metrics
  • Define and track KPIs such as revenue, supplier meet-or-beat (MOB) rates, booking costs, customer satisfaction, SLA adherence, and operational efficiency
  • Use analytical tools to surface insights, optimise pricing strategies, and guide improvements
Experience
  • Significant experience in travel industry roles particularly with GDS management, air supply or travel product delivery
  • Familiarity with GDS booking platforms, consolidators, airline APIs, BSP/ARC/IATA processes

  • Comfortable navigating fast-paced environments, pivoting quickly, and balancing long- and short-term priorities
  • High accuracy in managing flight data, rate agreements, and system nuances; resilient under pressure
  • Genuine enthusiasm for travel, customer experience, and continuous improvement in airline product offerings
  • Ideally, good knowledge of both UK and Irish Airline markets

This is a Full-time permanent position where you will be required to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm.
