Air National Guard Units in Cheyenne, Wyoming seeks an Air Operations Officer (Navigator) to plan, supervise, and execute flying operations programs in accordance with Air Force and ANG regulations. The role includes supervisory responsibilities for a team of about 15+ full-time personnel and conditions of a National Guard Title 32 Excepted Service position.

Responsabilidades

• Plans work to be accomplished by the organization consisting of about 15 or more full-time subordinates engaged in technical and administrative work.
• Oversees unit operations activities in air and on the ground across training, standardization & evaluation, tactics, scheduling, plans, command post, intelligence, life support, flying operations and flight management.
• Develops long-range training and deployment plans to meet training goals, HQ inspection schedules and deployment requirements.
• Coordinates required planning and resources with other units and higher headquarters to support and implement training and deployment plans.
• Acts as key advisor on the 153 AW Commander’s staff to coordinate unit flying operations with other ANG flying units and outside agencies.
