Job summary

PHI Air Medical in Oracle, AZ seeks skilled helicopter pilots to join its air ambulance team, flying critical care missions across the United States and supporting communities with speed and precision. The role requires CAMTS flight hour requirements, instrument and NVG ratings, a first-class medical certificate, and the ability to pass a physical.

You will work 24‑hour day/night rotations, load and unload patients, and uphold Destination Zero safety standards.

Qualifications

• Commercial and instrument helicopter ratings.
• First‑class medical certificate.
• CAMTS hours: 2,000 total, 1,500 helicopter.
• 1,000 PIC helicopter hours, 500 turbine hours.
• 100 unaided night hours or 50 unaided + 100 NVG hours.
• Weight limit: 235 pounds.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Pass pre‑placement physical including lifting 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate PHI Air Medical aircraft under CAMTS guidelines.
• Pilot AS350 helicopter with VFR/NVG and an instrument rating.
• Work 24‑hour day/night rotations.
• Load and unload patients and equipment.
• Support Safety Management System and safety campaigns.
• Provide safe, efficient, courteous service to customers.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers.
