Job summary

Metro Aviation, Inc. seeks a Helicopter Air Ambulance Pilot (IFR/PIC) for the MedStarTransport program in Fort Meade, Maryland. The PIC will uphold flight safety, operate under IFR, and communicate with supervisors and clients in a professional manner.

The role requires meticulous pre-flight checks, adherence to regulations, and a flexible schedule with 7 on / 7 off 12-hour shifts. Full-time benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold FAA Commercial Rotorcraft certificate with Instrument rating.
• Second Class medical is required (First Class may be required at some locations).
• PIC experience with IFR operations and safe aircraft handling.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for operation of the assigned aircraft at all times.
• Maintain a professional communication line with supervisor, company, and clients.
• Adhere to regulations, manuals, and procedures; perform pre-flight inspections and airworthiness checks.
