Job summary

Air Methods seeks exceptional helicopter pilots for a Griffin, GA based role (AirLife GA) operating EC130 under VFR. Location stipend $20,000 and sign-on bonus $15,000 are offered, with opportunities to contribute to a high‑performing safety culture in a 7/7 12‑hour shift schedule.

Compensation starts from $82,900 per year and includes comprehensive benefits. Requires 2000 total flight hours, PIC, rotor-wing turbine time, and current category experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school plus 2–5 years’ related experience or training.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must meet FAA medical and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure aircraft and weather conditions are airworthy for medical transport within assigned area.
• Comply with FAR, AIM, GOM and Air Methods policies.
• Operate aircraft safely and legally; perform pre-flight checks and walk-around.
• Be final authority on aircraft operations and safety of passengers and equipment.
• Complete required documentation and conduct detailed flight planning as needed.
• Attend meetings and participate in projects and community outreach.
