Job Summary

As an Air Logistics Warehouse Associate, you will help deliver express packages by loading/unloading air freight, moving containers from aircraft to trucks, and ensuring timely delivery. This is a cross-dock operation with minimal storage, in an open-air indoor environment, possibly around aircraft. We value high performance and industry leadership.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload express packages from air freight containers to trucks.
• Sort, scan, and move small packages within the warehouse.
• Build and breakdown package containers for flights.
• Remove tie-downs and gear during loading/unloading.
• Operate handling equipment like pallet jacks and gaylords.
• Weigh, label, and manage gaylords or containers.
• Check containers for correct piece count, weight, dimensions, and documents per safety guidelines.
• Report on time, including mandatory overtime, shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Complete required training and adhere to policies and safety procedures.
• Work outdoors, exposed to weather, noise, and fumes.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
• Experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays; longer hours during peak season.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to react to verbal commands and safety warnings.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Stand for entire shifts and move across facilities.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Good judgment of distances and effective communication skills.
