Job Summary

As an Air Logistics Warehouse Associate, you will contribute to the timely delivery of express packages by loading and unloading air freight containers, and moving these containers from aircraft to truck for on-time delivery. This is a cross-dock operation with minimal storage, involving work in an open-air environment around aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload express packages from air freight containers to and from semi-trucks.
• Sort, scan, and move small packages within the warehouse.
• Build up and breakdown package containers for flights.
• Remove tie-downs and gear during loading and unloading.
• Operate handling equipment such as pallet jacks and gaylords.
• Weigh, label, and break down gaylords or containers.
• Check containers for proper piece count, weight, dimensions, and documentation.
• Report on time, including overtime, shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Complete required training and adhere to safety and company policies.
• Work outdoors, exposed to weather, noise, and fumes.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Preferred but not required: one year of related experience.
• Valid driver’s license (depending on station).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and possibly longer hours during peak season.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to understand verbal commands and safety warnings.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Good distance judgment and communication skills.

Physical and Working Conditions

• Lift up to 50 pounds multiple times daily.
• Work in various weather conditions.
