Worldwide Flight Services is hiring an Air Logistics Warehouse Associate in Bloomington, MN. You will move and sort small packages, load/unload cargo, and prepare shipments for outbound flights in an open-air warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include operating basic cargo equipment, verifying freight details, and adhering to safety protocols. Candidates must be 18+, possess a valid driver’s license, and be able to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Facilitate loading/unloading of cargo to/from semitrucks.
• Operate basic cargo handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallets).
• Check freight for correct piece count, weight, and documents.
• Communicate during aircraft push-out and towing with hand signals/voice commands.

Job Summary

The Air Logistics Warehouse Agent is responsible for moving and sorting small packages by hand and pushcart from containers inside the warehouse to semi-trucks, in an open air, uncontrolled temperature environment.

• Responsible for moving air cargo within designated warehouse.
• Load and unload cargo from pallets and containers.
• Build up cargo for outbound flights.
• Break down cargo from import flights.
• Facilitate the loading and unloading of cargo to and from semitrucks.
• May operate basic cargo handling equipment such as forklift, aircraft pallets and pallet jacks.
• Check freight for proper piece count, weight, dimensions and documents as appropriate when accepting or delivering cargo.
• May transport cargo to and from aircraft driving 3,000 lb. vehicle using depth perception to negotiate vehicle with attached carts through congested area. Read "off-load" sheets to determine destination of cargo.
• While performing aircraft push-out and/or towing functions, engage in proper specific ground to cockpit communication via hand signals and voice commands, with and without, the assistance of sight or visual aids.
• Ability to understand and react to verbal commands and safety warnings, with and without, assistance of sight or visual aids.

Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and holidays. Peak Season (November-December) may require longer hours

Ability to read, write and understand the English language

Ability to understand and react to verbal commands and safety warnings, with and without, assistance of sight or visual aids

Preferred Skills

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, multiple times a day

Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures, rain, wind and snow

Ability to stand for an entire shift and travel long distances across our facilities by foot
