When you work in Freight Logistics and Operations at Kuehne+Nagel, you play a key role in optimising processes and ensuring that inventory and shipments move efficiently. Your work also helps ensure that vital medicines reach patients on time and supports other essential deliveries, from wind turbines to semiconductors. As a Customer Care Specialist, you will ensure consistent shipment monitoring, proactive customer communication, and effectively handle customer feedback, complaints, and escalations, ensuring swift corrective actions. You will also promote awareness and usage of our customer-facing digital solutions.

You will report to the Customer Care Manager. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm.

How you create impact
  • Plan shipments in coordination with clients’ requirements, ensuring orders are accurately set up and effectively communicated to other departments or logistics service partners, in compliance with all regulations and operating procedures.
  • Escalate all client issues to the management team as required.
  • Identify and implement strategies to improve service quality and productivity.
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of all Quick Enterprise Systems (QuickTrac, QuickOnline/RX, Quick Oasis), especially QuickTrac CS functions and QuickSTAT email program, including client email contact group updates.
  • Assist the Commercial Group (Sales) as required or directed by local management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and understand/embrace the company's mission to provide the highest quality global transportation and logistics services.
  • Ensure compliance with all required training certifications.
What we would like you to bring
  • Diploma/Degree in supply chain management or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Freight Forwarding industry (Air Logistics preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel) and strong computer skills.
  • Good knowledge of Incoterms, air regulations, and experience managing shipments for pharmaceutical customers is preferred.
