Job summary

Engineered Floors LLC in Dalton, GA, is seeking an Air Jet Texturing Machine Operator to operate the Air Texturing machines used in carpet fiber production. You will load yarn packages, manage creel operations, rethread when needed, and monitor lines for quality issues throughout the shift.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to read and write, perform basic arithmetic, and basic computer/data entry skills. Overtime and strict PPE adherence may be required.

• Monitor for broken positions and rethread in a timely manner.
• Consistently watch lines for any quality issues.
• Remove completed packages of air textured yarn and pack yarn on buggies.
• Move buggies of completed packages to specified location for pack out.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
• Aptitude to pass a color vision test if needed.

• Remove completed packages of air textured yarn and pack yarn on buggies
• Move buggies of completed packages to specified location for pack out
• Maintain clean and safe work environment

Performance Expectations (if Applicable)

• Ability to lift 40 lbs. up to 6 feet consistently throughout the shift
• Ability to carry a minimum of 40 lbs. up to a distance of 40 feet
• Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift
• Aptitude to pass a color vision test if needed

Experience/Education Requirements

• All accidents must be reported immediately
