Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. in Seattle is seeking a Freight Forwarder Air Import to ensure timely importation of goods by air, handling customs clearance and delivery to final destinations.

The role requires coordinating with airlines, customs agents, and trucking companies; strong organization, communication, and knowledge of air freight regulations; English fluency is required, additional languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in air imports is highly desirable.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Knowledge of air freight logistics and customs regulations is expected.
• Understanding of trade laws and regulations is a plus.
• Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the importation of goods by air, including customs clearance and delivery to the final destination.
• Communicate with airlines, customs agents, and trucking companies to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Track shipments and provide updates to customers as needed.
• Prepare and submit required documentation for customs clearance, including invoices and bills of lading.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
• Manage relationships with customers and provide excellent service.
• Knowledge of air freight regulations and trade laws is required.
