Job summary

Applied Research Solutions is seeking a Technical Order Manager to support Air Force armament and munitions programs at Hill AFB, Utah. The role develops, revises, proofs, and manages Technical Orders and related documentation to support weapon system sustainment, operational readiness, and munitions safety.

The ideal candidate has experience with Air Force Technical Order processes, SGML formatting, document quality assurance, and coordinating with Government stakeholders to ensure accuracy,

Qualifications

• US citizen required.
• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, including DoD Technical Orders/technical publications/logistics/content management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, revise, proof, and maintain Air Force Technical Orders (TOs) and CSTOs.
• Perform QA reviews, proofreading, validation, verification, and configuration management of publications.
• Coordinate with Government stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and implement documentation updates.
• Utilize Arbortext, SGML, XML, and publishing tools to edit and format documentation.
• Prepare and process TO changes, revisions, supplements, and publication releases.
• Support FMS technical publication activities and maintain publication repositories.
