Job summary

LMI is seeking a part-time (approximately 24 hours per week) Supply Chain RIPIT SME at Robins Air Force Base, Warner Robins, GA. You will analyze logistics processes, serve as the liaison with Air Force customers, and develop data-driven improvements across DoD supply chains.

The role requires eight years of USAF SCM experience, security clearance, and strong analytical and communication skills. Travel is occasional; salary ranges from $45,000 to $65,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; Minimum of eight (8) years of Air Force Supply Chain Management experience.
• Knowledge of U.S. Air Force logistics systems and processes (SIRS/D200A, API/D200F, RIID/D200E, CSIS/D200N, SSIR/DD1000).
• Experience/certifications in Inventory Management, Materiel Management or Equipment Specialist preferred.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills; proficient with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Superior communication skills, both oral and written; ability to interact with government and industry clients at all levels.
• Ability to work independently, manage shifting priorities, and travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Assess supply chain operations and identify opportunities for enhancement and solutions.
• Interface with Air Force Base customers to facilitate analyses.
• Evaluate alternative logistics concepts using supply chain theory.
• Support DoD and USAF logistics analyses, including inventory management and distribution.
• Analyze policies and procedures against performance metrics and recommend improvements.
• Create and present briefings and reports for program reviews.
• Identify new logistics opportunities for LMI and provide data-driven insights.
