Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, based in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a senior FP&A professional to manage forecast, balance sheet, and cash collection while aligning with program leadership on financial metrics.

You will drive forecasting for current and long-range plans, collaborate across engineering, supply chain, and contracts, and partner with key stakeholders to influence program execution and strategy. Hybrid work arrangement applies.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite of tools.

Responsibilities

  • Forecast, balance sheet, cash collection, and ad-hoc FP&A needs.
  • Develop and support financial forecasting (current forecast, annual operating plan, long range planning) and short-range outlooks.
  • Coordinate with program leadership for unit delivery tied to sales and financial metrics.
  • Partner with IPL and strategic partners on program execution and strategy.
  • Increase FP&A and business influence skills.

What You Will Do
  • Partner with the program business manager and analysts to manage the forecast, balance sheet, cancelling funds, cash collection, and other ad-hoc FP&A needs.
  • Drive collaboration with the program team to develop and support financial forecasting (current forecast, annual operating plan, and long range planning), short range outlooks (to include risks and opportunities).
  • Maintain coordination with program leadership and factory management for unit delivery plans, keeping these tied to key financial forecasting metrics (sales, receipts, etc.).
  • Partnering successfully and driving influence with program IPL and strategic partners regarding all aspects of program execution and strategy.
  • Increase your FP&A and business influence skills.
Qualifications

You Must Have:

We Prefer:

  • Experience with SAP (APEX/PRISM).
  • Strong presentation, communication, and professional skills and the ability to work independently and with some supervision and oversight – to include internal and external (USG, DCMA) communications.
  • Experience with RPlan or other financial forecasting tools.
  • Experience with Balance Sheet.
  • Experience with Cash Collection.
  • Proven analytical skills.
  • Experience with Estimate at Completes (EACs) and EDIT+.
  • Experience with accounting policies and processes (contract close-out, EACs, BSEC, etc.).
  • Experience with invoicing best practices or cancelling funds.
  • Proven experience interfacing, conducting business, and working collaboratively with various functional disciplines (Engineering, Supply Chain, Contracts, Operations, etc.) in a cross matrix organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle a high volume of priorities and maintain on time delivery.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
