Qualifications

Opportunity (Part-Time): Air Domain Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Rotary-Wing (RW) Close Air Support (CAS) Pilot

Bottom Line Up Front: Hoplite Group is seeking a RW CAS pilot to assist a partner nation in validating, supporting, and refining the implementation of holistic Air/Ground Integration plans. Selected candidates will also review JTAC/TACP course curriculum to ensure successful execution of operations.

Location: Remote support (CONUS) and forward engagements in a partner nation (PN).

Level of Effort: (Part Time) - Support in building partner capacity (remote and in-country)

  • Non-travel months: 40 hours/month
  • Quarterly travel engagement months: 90-100 hours/month (inclusive of pre-trip planning, travel, post-trip reports).
  • Potential for one extended 6-week trip to partner nation and geographic combatant command headquarters, on an annual basis.

Availability: Immediate opening

Requirements:
  • Preferred retired (CW-4/CW-5/O-4/O-5/O-6) RW CAS pilots, with extensive experience in air to ground integration operations.
  • AH-64, MH-60 DAP, AH-6, or AH-1 experience required.
  • Forward Air Controller or Joint Terminal Attack Controller certification required.
  • Knowledgeable in Joint Targeting processes required.
  • Experience working in a Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) desired.
  • AFRICOM experience desired.
  • Department of Defense current/active Secret Clearance a must.
