Job summary

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Test and Evaluation engineer to lead test planning, execution, and reporting for UAS and ground systems. You will collaborate with engineering to interpret data, drive product enhancements, and coordinate testing with external agencies.

The role demands a bachelor’s in engineering, 5+ years of test experience, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Top Secret clearance. Travel and extended hours may be required in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field of engineering.
• 5+ years of test engineering experience or similar.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Top Secret-Level security clearance.
• Experience producing customer-facing test deliverables (test plans, readiness reviews, data analysis, test reports).
• Experience as a test conductor and/or test director, or similar (Range events).
• General knowledge of test execution safety and risk management.
• Thorough understanding of engineering principles, especially autonomous systems.
• Experience conducting data analysis that informed engineering decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to travel for testing-related activities.
• Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Test planning, execution, and reporting under minimal supervision.
• Collect and perform initial test data analysis for the system under test.
• Conduct the full test process to a high standard in line with policy.
• Perform system testing of UAS systems and ground systems, in simulated and field environments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret test data and drive product improvements.
• Manage use of test ranges and coordinate with external agencies for testing activities.
• Work in a safe manner in accordance with procedures and practices.
