SGS Consulting is seeking a software-focused engineer to develop and exercise air defense sensor detection, tracking, command/control and mission planning software tools within a modern, modular architecture.

You will integrate system analysis and threat modeling into existing models, prepare PowerPoint presentations and technical reports for internal and external audiences, and document all modified capabilities clearly.

Competenze

Strong background in software development with varying maturity of code.
Experience in AWS FENCES environment.
Extensive experience with AFSIM for air/ground vignettes.
Proficiency in MATLAB and object-oriented languages (C++ or Python) and shell scripting.
Familiarity with undergraduate physics and mathematics.
Experience running physics-based software and data analysis.
BS/BA in Physics, Engineering, Applied Math or Computer Science.
Experience with Linux and Windows environments, including Virtual Machines.
Familiarity with verification and validation of simulation models.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in small teams.
