Job summary

DC Army National Guard in Anderson, SC seeks an Air Defense Battle Management System Operator to integrate, operate, and maintain the Sentinel Radar system and related shelters to detect aerial threats.

You will learn to provide warning and airspace awareness, coordinate with Allied and Joint units, and support engagement operations while earning tuition assistance and other Guard benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must meet eligibility for Army National Guard enlistment.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot electronic and mechanical components.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Sentinel Radar system and associated shelters.
• Establish network interoperability with Allied, Joint, and other Air Defense units.
• Provide airspace situational awareness and deconflict airspace to maintain air superiority.
• Collect, integrate, and process tactical battlefield information from multiple sensors and users.
• Provide early warning and conduct engagement operations to counter threats.
