Job summary

The DC Army National Guard seeks an Air Defense Battle Management System Operator to defend airspace by integrating, operating, and maintaining multiple systems. You will learn to operate the Sentinel Radar and provide warning, detection, and protection for armed forces.

Qualifications

• Interest in technical electronic, mechanical, and computer systems.
• Ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure.
• Willingness to learn Sentinel Radar system operation.

Responsibilities

• Move, position, operate, and maintain the Sentinel Radar system in varied environments.
• Establish network interoperability with allied and joint air defense units.
• Collect and process battlefield information from sensors and ACC systems.
• Provide airspace awareness, deconflict airspace, and aid air superiority.
• Evaluate data, report status in real time during combat, and engage threats.
