The HVACR (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) Adjunct Instructor will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in a dynamic, hands-on learning environment. The instructor will develop, deliver, and evaluate course content, including both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of HVACR. The role requires a commitment to ensuring students receive quality education, aligning with industry standards, and preparing them for careers in HVACR technologies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Delivering lectures, lab demonstrations, and hands-on training in HVACR systems and technologies.
  • Preparing course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Assessing student performance through examinations, assignments, and practical evaluations.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HVACR trends, codes, and industry advancements.
  • Providing guidance and academic support to students.
  • Maintaining a safe and effective learning environment.
  • Collaborating with other faculty and staff to improve instructional methods and program offerings.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. Â

Education and/or Experience

Required

  • Associate's degree in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC-R)
  • EPA 608 Certification

Preferred

  • Industry HVAC-R experience
