Job summary

Modern Aviation’s Air Concierge is the first point of contact for arriving and departing passengers and flight crews, delivering a high-touch customer experience on the aircraft ramp and in the Executive Terminal. You will coordinate services, assist with luggage handling, and ensure timely departure preparations.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), open availability including nights and weekends, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of customer service or line service experience preferred.
  • Must have clear and effective communication in English.
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and variable shifts as required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome passengers and flight crews upon arrival.
  • Coordinate passenger pickup logistics and direct them to the terminal.
  • Provide high-touch, personalized service aligned with Modern Aviation standards.

Job description

The Air Concierge is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by serving as the primary point of contact for arriving and departing passengers and flight crews. This position supports the coordination of ancillary services and ensures seamless execution of customer requests, both within the Executive Terminal and on the aircraft parking ramp. The Air Concierge works closely with the Line Service Manager and site leadership team to provide prompt, professional service and to proactively communicate and escalate any customer needs, issues, or concerns.Customer Service & HospitalityGreet and welcome passengers and flight crews upon arrival on the aircraft parking rampProvide direction to the terminal or coordinate passenger pick up logisticsDeliver a high touch, personalized customer service experience aligned with Modern Aviation standardsThank customers for their visit and encourage repeat businessAircraft & Passenger SupportAssist with offloading and loading passenger luggage and baggageSupport flight crews with baggage handling and transportation needsAssist with interior aircraft cleaning and trash removal, as requestedProvide catering, coffee, ice, newspapers, and other amenities during departure preparationGround Operations & CoordinationCoordinate and position rental vehicles for arriving passengersEscort customer vehicles on and off the airfield as neededEnsure all fuel and service orders are completed accurately and on time for departuresDirect flight crews to the terminal for fuel and service requestsTeam Collaboration & Operational SupportPartner with line service and operations team members to ensure efficient service deliveryAssist teammates when not actively supporting customersCommunicate issues, delays, or service gaps promptly to managementContribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery and best practicesComplete other duties as assigned by managementQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredMust have open work availability as schedules may vary, nights and weekends includedMinimum of two (2) years of customer service or line service experience preferredValid driver’s license for at least 3 years with fewer than seven points is requiredAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishWorking conditions and physical demands for this roleAbility to work both indoors in the Executive Terminal and outdoors on the aircraft parking rampMust be able to lift and handle luggage and materials on a regular basisExposure to varying weather conditions and aircraft noiseFlexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as requiredMust be able to perform frequent walking, sitting, stooping, stretching, bending, reaching, and grasping actions. May be required to work nights and weekends.
