Job summary

Air Centers of Florida is seeking Install Technicians to install and modify compressed air piping and related components at customer sites. Responsibilities include mechanical and electrical work, reading schematics, and performing installations with a focus on safety and quality.

The role requires 5–7 years of related experience, a valid MVR, and familiarity with common compressor brands. Candidates should be able to travel to job sites and work in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent (GED)
• 5 to 7 years of related work experience or training or equivalent combination of both education and experience
• Motor Vehicle Record must be in good standing and comply with Company policy
• Experience on Ingersoll Rand, Atlas Copco, Quincy, Kaeser, Sullair, Gardner Denver, Kobelco, Boge, Kaishan compressors are a plus

Responsibilities

• Install/modification of compressed air piping and components.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of compressed air systems and/or accessories.
• Read and interpret manuals, piping schematics and work orders to perform installations/modifications.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations and measurements.
• Use hand and power tools and electrical meters.
• Identify faulty operations and report to Install Manager.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain clean work areas and vehicles.
• Drive company vehicle to/from job sites; overnight travel may be required.
