Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) is hiring an Air Logistics Ramp Associate at our Austin airport location. You will contribute to the timely delivery of Express packages by loading and unloading air freight, moving containers from aircraft to warehouse and then to trucks in a high-volume, cross-dock environment.

The role requires manual handling, working around aircraft, and compliance with safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Willing to work beyond standard hours during peak times.
• Valid Driver's license.
• 18 years and older.
• High School Diploma or GED or international equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and understand the English language.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and days off.

Responsibilities

• Transport, load and unload air freight containers from aircraft within confined areas.
• Push, pull and position loaded air freight containers weighing up to 3,200 lbs.
• Remove tie-downs and other gear when loading and unloading.
• Read off-load sheets to determine destination of Express packages.
• Operate ramp equipment with weights up to 80,000 lbs in congested areas near aircraft.
