Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking an Air Battle Manager/Live Air Controller to support simulated and live mission execution during ABM and Weapons Instructor Course syllabi at Nellis AFB, Nevada.

Essential duties include mission briefings, live control execution, debriefings, and instruction support. Requires 9 years of related experience with a Bachelor's, active Top Secret DoD clearance, and USAF experience; on-site work at the base.

Qualifications

  • 9 years relevant experience with Bachelor’s in related field.
  • 7 years relevant experience with Master’s in related field.
  • 4 years relevant experience with PhD or JD in related field or 13 years with HS diploma.

Responsibilities

  • Perform at IABM/WD level during mission briefings, live control execution, and debriefings.
  • Attend all required mission briefings and debriefings, provide valid, constructive debriefing comments, and identify and report student trends to the appropriate Syllabus Phase Manager.
  • Provide instruction support during syllabus mission execution and as directed by the 8th WPS/CC.

Job Description

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is currently seeking an Air Battle Manager/Live Air Controller to support for simulated and live mission execution during Air Battle Manager (ABM) and other Weapons Instructor Course (WIC) syllabi as directed by the 8th WPS at Nellis AFB, Nevada.

Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Perform at an IABM/WD WO-level during mission briefings, tactical live control execution, and debriefings.
  • Attend all required mission briefings and debriefings, provide valid, constructive debriefing comments, and identify and report student trends to the appropriate Syllabus Phase Manager.
  • Provide instruction support during syllabus mission execution and as directed by the 8th WPS/CC.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
  • USAF Green Flag, Red Flag, or comparable exercise experience.
  • Must have an active Top Secret DoD clearance
Preferred Requirements
  • Five (5) years of experience Combat Mission Ready (CMR) as an USAF Air Battle Manager (ABM) 13BXX/17XX OR USAF Enlisted Weapons Director (EWD) 1C5DX OR DoD equivalent. Current/recent qualified Instructor is highly desired. Navy and Marine controller equivalents also meet this requirement.
  • Five (5) years of experience working in a DoD flying squadron, group, wing, OR air operations (e.g. BCS, BCC, MCS, MCE, AWACS) training program.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience working with Microsoft Access, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • USAFWS Weapons School Instructor Course (WIC) Graduate "patch wearer" or comparable course (e.g. CATAC) highly desired.
