Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Integrated Defense Design (IDD) Team Product Owner (PO)

Overview

i3 is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Integrated Defense Design (IDD) Team Product Owner (PO). This role involves working with the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office (PO). The position is fully onsite in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities

1. Prioritize and validate the development software for the IDD team.
2. Review and understand Systems Engineering concepts, designs, and algorithms.
3. Provide guidance to the development team.
4. Coordinate with Program management to set priorities for capabilities and defects for each product increment and sprint.
5. Deliver technical briefings and advisement to leadership on project status, risks, and impacts to the IFMC mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in engineering, sciences, or mathematics from an accredited college (ABET preferred).
• Minimum of 7 years of combined Government/DoD experience relevant to the duties listed.
• Basic knowledge of AMD Command and Control (C2) and/or planning software.
• Ability to oversee software development and verify work based on acceptance criteria, including code reviews.
• Experience working directly with Agile software development teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Experience in AMD defense planning is preferred.
• Experience leading a software development team and product ownership on SCRUM teams is a plus.
