Role Overview

Are you passionate about evaluating ML models and validating AI applications? We seek an engineering program manager to lead our ML international locales expansion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex platform projects, understanding ML system mechanics, and scaling products to billions of users. You will coordinate with vendors, platform teams, legal, finance, and partner data scientists & engineers to develop data assets for groundbreaking machine learning experiences.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead high-profile Foundation Model programs, including roadmapping, goal setting with DRIs, and executive reporting.
  2. Drive consensus among diverse teams, influence project execution, and align efforts around common objectives.
  3. Create and manage project schedules, dependencies, and systematic communication of status.
  4. Identify and mitigate risks proactively, adapting agile project management strategies.
  5. Ensure teams stay on critical paths, minimizing distractions and delays.
  6. Provide regular, clear updates to stakeholders and executive teams.
  7. Maintain alignment across dependency teams through proactive communication.
  8. Plan and manage annual and quarterly budgets for data acquisition.
  9. Ensure compliance with privacy, legal, and regional regulations in data management.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years in program management, especially in ML data acquisition; international experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of ML concepts, evaluation, and release processes.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience translating technical requirements into platform roadmaps.
  • Leadership in security and privacy initiatives, collaborating with legal and engineering teams.
  • Exceptional project management skills with multiple interdependent work streams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently prepare and present strategic recommendations.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in EE/CS/CE or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in search, speech recognition, natural language understanding, or data pipelines.
  • International locales experience.
