Apple Inc. is hiring an AIML Data Engineer in Austin, TX to build and maintain the data foundation powering ACCI's AI/ML initiatives.

You will ingest and transform support interaction data, orchestrate scoring workflows, and deliver telemetry, while partnering with teams to diagnose trends and surface actionable insights for leadership. The role combines data engineering with analytics, involving pipeline orchestration, model feature engineering, telemetry analytics, and investigative analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/Data Science/Engineering
• 4+ years in data engineering or analytics engineering
• Strong SQL and Python skills for data engineering and analytics
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks) and ETL/ELT tooling
• Experience with pipeline orchestration (dbt, Airflow, Prefect) and CI/CD practices
• Ability to translate data findings into actionable recommendations

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines ingesting support interaction data
• Engineer features and data transformations for AI consumption and prompt context assembly
• Build telemetry pipelines to track model performance and data quality across AIML workstreams
• Develop and operate pipeline orchestration workflows for reliable data delivery
• Implement data quality checks, validation, and monitoring at ingestion points
• Create monitoring and alerts for pipeline health, latency, and failures
• Integrate with upstream sources (Snowflake, enterprise systems) and downstream dashboards
• Conduct root cause analysis when CXI scores or CSAT shift and surface findings
• Partner with program managers on targeted investigations and cohort analysis
• Surface anomalies and trends from pipeline telemetry before escalations
