AIM Associate/Principal - Asset Manager Oversight | Hybrid

What you do:

You will be a senior team member in Investment Operations, overseeing external Asset Managers across all asset classes. Your responsibilities include conducting operational due diligence, risk assessments, monitoring reporting compliance, and validating fee calculations in partnership with Investment Operations. You will collaborate with internal teams and external asset managers to ensure proper oversight, reporting, and compliance. You will report to an AIM Principal - Investment Operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform initial and ongoing due diligence and risk assessments of third-party Asset Managers, reviewing operational processes and financial controls.
  • Prepare operational due diligence reports, summarize findings, and recommend actions to senior management.
  • Collaborate with AIM teams to monitor external asset managers and ensure adherence to legal agreements and policies.
  • Support the receipt and review of reporting requirements and packages from Asset Managers.
  • Review fee calculations for compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risks.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Asset Managers and AIM teams.
Salary Range:

AIM Associate: $84,000 - $126,000
AIM Principal: $100,000 - $150,000
Note: Actual salary varies based on experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity. An annual incentive is also available.

What you bring:
  • 5+ years of experience in Investment or Asset Management
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • Knowledge of private equity structures, waterfall calculations, and fee calculations
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial calculations
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic to high proficiency with AI and business intelligence tools
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
