Position Overview

The operator is responsible for operating the machine in a safe and efficient manner according to established procedures and specifications, ensuring that a quality product is produced.

Responsibilities:

1. Work during scheduled days, adhering to start and stop times.
2. Inspect assigned job at the beginning of each shift and after breaks.
3. Work rotating shifts, including holidays, weekends, and overtime as required.
4. Lift packages weighing up to twenty pounds frequently.
5. Comply with corporate absenteeism and tardiness policies.
6. Sit, stand, or walk for up to twelve continuous hours.
7. Communicate problems or concerns to the supervisor promptly.
8. Properly identify yarn packages for lot running on assigned lines.
9. Perform all job procedures.
10. Patrol the job area to ensure all positions are running.
11. Report quality or run-ability issues to the supervisor.
12. Label yarn for identification purposes.
13. Repair breakouts immediately.
14. Assist with changeovers following proper procedures.
15. Initial labels before placing on finished packages.
16. Report mechanical problems to the supervisor and technician.
17. Follow waste prevention procedures.
18. Maintain housekeeping standards.
19. Inspect yarn according to established procedures.

Work Schedule:

Part-Time Days will be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The work shift is a 12-hour rotating shift, starting in the morning, with days changing only as per the schedule.
