PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The Teacher Aide is responsible for assisting the teacher in preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements in accordance with the campus needs assessment and campus improvement plan.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• High School Diploma from an accredited institution
• 48 hours of college coursework from an accredited college or university or:
• Pass Spring Independent School District's NCLB test in the areas of Reading, Writing, and Mathematics (Tests are administeredafter the recommendation for hire).
• Educational Aide II Certificate (or be willing to obtain).

Preferred:

• 1 yr. of experience working with children
