Job summary

Bear Creek Elementary in Katy ISD, Houston, Texas is seeking a bilingual Aide – Pre-K (English/Spanish) to support classroom teachers in a 187-day instructional setting. • Assist in preparation, use, and maintenance of instructional materials and equipment.
• Assist with teacher-planned activities, exercises, and drills.
• Assist in the teaching/learning process of working with individuals and small groups of students to reinforce skills as directed by the teacher.
• Attend professional meetings as required.
• Ability to assist in administering and scoring objective assessment instruments.
• Ability to establish a positive working relationship with other ESL/bilingual and regular education personnel.
• Supervise individual and small group activities as directed by the teacher.
