Job summary

Pearland ISD at Challenger Elementary seeks a PARA-CAMPUS/AIDE CLASSROOM to assist teachers with daily classroom activities and materials preparation, under supervision. The role supports administrative tasks and helps maintain an organized learning environment on site.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a Texas Educational Aide Certificate (or the ability to obtain one after hire), and at least two years of college or an associate degree.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required/acceptable.
• Texas Educational Aide Certificate (can be obtained after hire).
• Must have completed at least two years of college or hold an associate degree or higher.
• Basic computer skills including Excel, word processing, and Publisher.

Primary Purpose

Assist the teacher(s) in the preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements. Work under the supervision of a certified teacher(s).

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or GED


• Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate (Can be obtained once hired)


• -Must have completed at least two (2) years of study at an institution of higher education; or


• -Obtained and associate's (or higher) degree; or


• -Met a rigorous standard of quality demonstrated through a formal state or local academic assessment.
