Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy (CHCA) is seeking a Part-Time PK Teacher's Aide to support the classroom teacher in the Early Childhood Learning Center. The role requires helping plan daily activities, setting up centers, supervising children, and maintaining classroom materials. Oklahoma?

no—Ohio Educational Aide Permit is required if you do not have a teaching license. Strong Christian background and experience with young children are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Experience working with preschool or elementary aged children.
• Strong Christian background.
• Comfortable working in a multi-denomination Christian community.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing the daily program under the direction of the teacher.
• Assist in planning and preparing the learning environment, setting up interest centers, and preparing needed materials and supplies.
• Supervise children when the Head Teacher is in or out of the classroom.
• Help with the general housekeeping tasks.
• Keep record of the periodic cleaning of cots, materials and furnishings.
• Assist the teacher in any other appropriate ways.
• Maintain a professional attitude and representation of the school at all times.
• Faithfully implement the systems, policies and procedures as outlined by the Head of School and/or Preschool Administrator.
• Attend workshops, seminars, and conferences as directed.
• Must obtain Ohio Educational Aide Permit prior to start date, if does not have a teaching license.
