Waco Independent School District is seeking an Aide – Special Education at Cesar Chavez Middle to assist a Special Education teacher with implementing student IEPs and supporting instructional activities. The role requires the ability to work with children with disabilities, follow instructions, and communicate effectively with adults and students.
Training and supervision are provided within a collaborative school environment.

Primary Purpose
Assist Special Education teacher in implementing student IEP’s. Work under general supervision of principal and immediate direction of certified teacher.

Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling; regular heavy lifting of students. Biological exposure to bacteria and communicable diseases.
