Job Description:The Early Childhood Assistant Teacher or Kindergarten Aide supports the instructional program by performing tasks assigned by the regular classroom teacher.

Qualifications: Holds a high school diploma or GED.

Possesses strong oral and written communication skills.

Holds valid CPR and first aid cards.

To qualify for the Early Childhood Assistant Teacher classification, the successful candidate must agree to complete a Temporary or Permanent Authorization endorsed for Early Childhood Assistant Teacher.**

Length of Employment: 200 Days

Daily Schedule: Currently – 7:15 am - 3:15 pm

Responsibilities: The Early Childhood Assistant Teacher or Kindergarten Aide shall have the responsibilities and duties as outlined in the Putnam County Schools Job Description.
