Job summary

Southwest Range Services in New Mexico is seeking a technical tester to support Army AIAMD and Patriot systems through hands-on preparation and testing of IAMD items, sites, and equipment. The role covers setup, operation, data collection, and environmental monitoring, with strict adherence to OTPs, SOPs, and NRDs.

Candidates should have a two-year technical degree or equivalent experience, be able to lift 50 pounds, and be willing to work overtime and up to 30% TDY; security clearance

Qualifications

Two-year technical program or three years of progressive AIAMD experience.
Military training with AIAMD or Air Missile Defense systems preferred.
May need ammunition and explosives certification per IAW ATEC 385-1 Level II.
Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

Prepare AIAMD test items, test sites and related equipment.
Conduct tests in accordance with OTPs, SOPs and NRDs.
Instrument setup, operation, data collection and distribution.
Environmental monitoring and data logging of events.
Coordinate tasks, maintain detailed chronological logs.
May require overtime and up to 30% TDY assignments.
Cross-utilization into other duties as required.
