Job summary

Sierra Lobo is seeking candidates for an on-site position at White Sands Missile Range, NM, focused on testing Army Integrated Air Missile Defense (AIAMD) systems. The role involves setting up and operating test equipment, collecting data, and ensuring adherence to test plans and procedures.

Qualified applicants will have a two-year technical program or equivalent AIAMD experience, plus relevant certifications and the ability to work in challenging outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical program completed at an accredited institution or three years of progressive AIAMD field experience.
• Military training and practical experience with one or more AIAMD and Air Missile Defense Systems may satisfy formal education requirements.
• Ammunition and explosives certification may be required per IAW ATEC 385-1 chapter 14, Level II.

Responsibilities

• Prepares AIAMD test items, test sites, and related equipment in support of the IAMD program testing.
• Conducts tests in accordance with approved OTPs, SOPs, and NRDs.
• Performs instrumentation setup, data collection, ammunition handling, and environmental monitoring.
• Coordinates tasks with current test procedures and requirements.
• Maintains detailed chronological logs for all IAMD events.
• Operates AIAMD and Patriot Air Defense System components and related procedures.
• Ensures proper setup and operation of equipment for test purposes per manuals and procedures.
• May be assigned other duties within capabilities and cross-utilize into other roles.
• Overtime and/or weekend work with a minimum of 30% TDY assignments.
