Job summary

RWS is seeking AI Voice Recording Contributors for an Arabic (Morocco) voice evaluation project. This remote freelance role involves reading prompts aloud to capture natural speech, with a flexible schedule of 4–6 hours per day for about one month. Start date is immediate and compensation is 6 USD per hour.

You will work on our internal platform, recording high-quality audio while following strict guidelines and dialect accuracy. Prior experience is beneficial but not required.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Arabic (Morocco).
• Advanced level of English to understand written instructions.
• Ability to complete a trial voice recording to verify language variant and accent.
• Experience with speech recording projects is an advantage, but not required.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Freelance

Location: Work from home

Work Schedule: Flexible, task-based work (approximately 4-6 hours per day)

Project Duration: Approximately 1 month

Start Date: Immediately

Rate: 6 USD/hour

This short project offers an opportunity to contribute to the development and improvement of speech and language AI technologies by providing high-quality voice recordings in your native language and dialect.

You will complete recording tasks using our internal platform by reading provided text prompts aloud. The goal is to capture natural speech from native speakers of specific language variants to help improve AI systems' ability to understand diverse languages, dialects, and accents.

How Your Recordings Will Be Used

Your recordings will be used to evaluate how agents respond to spoken instructions and to compare that evaluation with an evaluation of text-based instructions. The collected audio may be reviewed for quality and incorporated into datasets used for research, development, testing, and improvement of AI systems.

What You’ll Do

• Read provided text cards aloud and record them exactly as written (there approximately 640 cards per person).
• Produce clear, natural, and high-quality speech recordings following the guidelines and instructions provided.
• Speak using your natural dialect and accent.
• Ensure no words are added, omitted, or altered.
• Re-record submissions if requested to meet quality standards.
• Complete tasks using our internal recording platform.

What We’re Looking For

• Native-level fluency in Arabic (Morocco).
• Authentic pronunciation and strong familiarity with the target dialect or accent through everyday use.
• Advanced level of English to understand written instructions.
• Ability to complete a trial voice recording to verify language variant and accent.
• Contributors must not imitate dialects or accents that are not their own.
• Experience with speech recording projects is an advantage, but not required.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain recording accuracy.
