Qualifications

• 7+ years of SEO, digital marketing, content strategy, or search experience.
• Proven success developing enterprise SEO programs.
• Understanding of AI search, answer engines, and generative AI content ecosystems.
• Experience using SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, BrightEdge, Conductor, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

Our client seeks a strategic AI Visibility, SEO, and Content Lead to drive presence across search engines, AI-powered discovery experiences, and emerging large language model platforms. The role will lead initiatives to improve content discoverability, search authority, AI visibility, and digital engagement while serving as the pod lead for AI search optimization efforts. The ideal candidate understands the shift from traditional SEO toward AI-driven answer engines and can develop content and optimization strategies that maximize visibility across both ecosystems.

Rate: $79.00 to $85.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives focused on improving discoverability within AI-powered search and answer experiences.
• Develop strategies to increase content citation, authority, and visibility across AI-driven platforms.
• Monitor AI search trends and recommend optimization opportunities.
• Define enterprise SEO strategy and roadmap.
• Conduct technical SEO assessments and optimization programs.
• Partner with digital, content, and analytics teams to improve search performance.
• Establish keyword, content, and authority-building initiatives.
• Create content frameworks supporting customer acquisition and engagement goals.
• Develop content optimization standards for both traditional search and AI consumption.
• Partner with business teams to identify high-value content opportunities.
• Establish governance and measurement practices for content performance.
• Work with agencies on content creation and/or create content.
• Define KPIs and reporting frameworks.
• Measure content effectiveness, search performance, AI visibility, and engagement outcomes.
• Create executive-level reporting and strategic recommendations.

Experience Requirements

• 7+ years of SEO, digital marketing, content strategy, or search experience.
• Demonstrated success developing enterprise SEO programs.
• Understanding of AI search, answer engines, and generative AI content ecosystems.
• Experience using SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, BrightEdge, Conductor, or similar platforms.
• Ability to translate analytics into actionable business recommendations.
• Experience writing content and/or working with agencies on content creation.
• Preferred: Financial services, fintech, or regulated industry experience.
• Preferred: Experience leading content operations and governance programs.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud solutions.
• Preferred: Experience supporting customer acquisition and conversion optimization initiatives.
• Preferred: Understanding of website tagging of content.
